The BSET curriculum consists of a carefully integrated program which includes professional studies, liberal education, and applied mathematics and sciences. Through the selection of the upper level technical concentration students can build and tailor their program, based on previous knowledge to assist them to launch a career that best needs their needs and aspirations. The design concentration provides advanced course work and preparation for employment at the baccalaureate level in the fields of manufacturing, testing and fabrication of the mechanical parts, and the building and construction industries. Graduates may become involved in applied design, product development, manufacturing or professional careers in technical management and operations in the manufacturing, sales, service, and construction industries, Graduates may become involved in many diverse areas including product development, manufacturing, quality assurance and logistics, sales, field engineering, technical writing and safety.
